A review! what to review about is the real question here. I'll do mine over a Japanese movie called "Wolf Children" which was written by Mamoru Hosoda. Hana is a 19 year old college student who catches a young man sneaking into the classes for lessons. She will soon fall in love with him. He later reveals his identity to her, that he is a wolf-man, and that he is one of the few surviving Japanese wolves. He moves in with her and a year later she gets pregnant and doesn't want to go to the hospital in fear that the baby will be born a wolf. Yuki is born and another year later her brother Ame is born. One day her husband gets hit by a car while hunting for food for his family. I cried when he died, it was an unjust death for this noble wolf.
They move out of the city into the rural area to support themselves and find a place where her children and be unnoticed. They moved to an old house and with the help of neighbors they make a garden to feed themselves and she finds a job as a park ranger. Now that her children are school going age Yuki begins to go school making sure that Yuki doesn't turn into a wolf in class. Ame went to school the following year but ditched school to be in the forest to be taught by his teacher whose identity isn't revealed intermediately .
One of the students named Souhei said that Yuki smelled like a dog despite her efforts to concealed it she scratches his ear with her claws and ran away. This scene was filled with stress as you worry if her wolf side will be revealed. Ame attacks Yuki for trying to hide her wolf side and chases her around the room making a huge mess before Yuki hides in her room. Ame a couple of days later says that his teacher is old and will soon die and he brought Hana to his teacher in the wolfs. A very old Fox emerges from his den under a big tree. He taught Ame how to survive in the forest and various other skills before showing him a safe place beyond the mountain where they live. During this time school closes early and Yuki and Souhei are the last two left. Yuki tells him her true identity and makes him promise he won't tell anyone else. While walking back Hana falls down the steep slope and Ame carries her down to the ranger station parking lot. She as a vision walking away but wakes up to see Ame leaving now as an adult wolf. She wishes him good luck and Yuki continued to finish her schooling. and Hana is proud of them knowing that her Husband would be too.
This movie was one of the best movies i have ever seen and encourage everyone to watch. It was a movie about Japaneses legends and modern manga art style. It is a movie of love, trails, and was the best movie ever!!!!
