After that matter, that happen in the morning Oso and me avoid that conversation for vast majority of the day. Most of time things were somewhat uneventful and boring beside the few sailors who came down to check on the cargo every now and then. However did not bother me much at all because it gave me time to drawl in my notebook, which is kind of a hobby of mine.
Eventually I even got bored with that and asked bluely, “Can you go up and check on the crew to find out where the ship is going?”
“Anything for you,” he happily chirped and he flew up towards the deck.
Tapping my foot on the wooden floor of the ship waiting for Bluely Oso asked, “What’s your friend looking for?”
“Oh, he just going to find out where in we are going to land at,” a little surprise at his question since he has been trying to avoid me all day long.
“So. … What was all that stuff that happen last night about?” Oso question while looking at the ground obviously degrade to asked me bout it.
Surprise yet again by his question I stuttered to say, “Well . . . Um it was a kind of um vision about some um . . . force that involved Dean Cori and um . . . a whole bunch of other people that I um . . . don’t know.”
He was silent for a moment as we just stood their starring at each other, and properly would have still if bluely had not show up.
Bluely flew in between the both of us unaware of our conversation and chirped, “They were talking about an island call the Glascow Island.”
“Good job bluely, now where is that on Ziff,” I said as I tried to get my head cleared up and went over to get my map out of my satchel.
Looking over the isle of Ziff my heart dropped as I realized that that island is the place where the giants live and said, “That is the island of the giants!”
Oso’s eyes widen and retorted, “great, I leave home and I get eaten my giants. Hooray!”
“Come on now I’m sure we can think of some sort of plan to get us out of this,” I said hopefully but inside I was torn that he was upset with decision to come with me.
“Summer don’t worry I won’t leave you,” Bluely said with worried eyes as he puffed out his chest feathers.
“Thanks, bluely,” I said softly as I watch the sun begin to lose it hold in the sky as the sea takes it hold as I remembered that on earth that their day is 24 hours but here our days are much longer.
“Since the night is coming up we might as well get all the rest we can get before we get their in about a little more then a week,” Oso said to us as we got ready for the night sky.
“Summer, are we going to make it through this,” Blue asked me with a small chirp.
“Of course, now get some shut eye,” I tell him but inside I doubted that sentence because the Giants are one of the most ruthless beings that exist on this planet. They don’t do so well to intruders.
Let’s see three days ago, we left home and began the adventure of a lifetime, and today it is Thursday. Oso is still mad at me and blue-robin is very worried for my safety. Sometimes I don’t know what to do with the coming up issues with giants and our friendship crumbling up. Only time can tell I only wish it could tell me.
I yawned as I closed my notebook, it was early in the morning the bright glorious orange sun was just beginning to peek up above the waves of the sea. Looking out the window, I could see the curve of our small world. After all, it is only a fraction of the size of Earth.
“I wonder what today will bring,” I pondered as I watch the sunrise.
“you’re up early,” Oso says nearly making me jerk around in surprise.
“You scared me,” I said as I punch him in the arm.
“Ow, what was that for,” he retorted.
“You been avoiding me all day and now you come to talk to me,” I hissed at him as I lashed my tail around.
“Bout that, well. … It just kind of . . .,” he trailed off.
“well? Kind of what?” I asked annoyed in waiting.
“Scary, it looked like you were having a stroke or something. Your bird friend was freaked out too if you haven’t notice,” he admitted.
“What, well I guess so since that dream was so terrible,” I admitted also.
“Why don’t you tell me about,” Oso offered me warmly.
“I guess so . . . it started off with this very loud sound . . . and then I was thrown by some invisible force and their was laughter everywhere and the loudest was this girl’s laugh that was . . . just wrong and then I woke up in your arms,” I told him.
“. . . well I . . . I hope it doesn’t happen again,” he said hopefully.
“yeah,” I said softly knowing that isn’t true, “but I think this might be a new gift,” I confessed to him.
“So now you’re going to have a stroke every night?” he retorted loudly.
“No, it’s just it been happening a lot recently,” I said a little frighten by his attitude.
“Having a bad dream?” he hissed.
“No, I feel like I can see into . . . The future or something,” I guessed.
“Really,” he retorted not convince.
“Like at my house I saw a vision of me being married off with that horrible Dean,” I hissed at the mere memory of him.
“That guy has murdered dozens of gifted, you did the right thing,” he said offering me support.
“Hey! Whatz all this fuss about?” as Bluely finally woke from his slumber.
“Just telling Oso here about my dream,” I told him.
“Well if you keep all this racket up the sailors will here!” he chirped.
“Oh, I forgot about those guys,” I said thinking, “How that I do that as a stowaway,”
“Well let’s keep it down low for awhile so they don’t suspect anything,” I said.
“Even if we don’t get caught the giants will get us for sure!” Oso hissed in frustration and kicked a crate.
“Ow!” he yelled.
My hears stiffen as I hear shouts from above on the deck and footsteps running, “Oh, no they have heard us so hide!” I yelled and dove for cover in a crate near me.
“Will they find us,” bluely chirped.
“I hope not blue-robin,” I whispered to him as I began to form an idea.
“Let’s see if I can move stuff upstairs to make them go away,” I thought.
Focusing all my effort on all the stuff, I saw on the deck earlier I made them rattle and thump down on the floor.
“THUD,” the sound of stuff falling went through the wood of the ship.
“Hey, what is going on up their,” as all the men go back upstairs.
“few,” I said as they all left.
“Sorry that was my bad, I was being loud and kind of a jerk since we left,” Oso confessed to me looking at me in the eye.
“It’s OK no harm done, but you were a jerk a lot,” I laugh at him.
By now, the sun was fully up in the morning sky and my stomach growled as it climbed higher in the sky.
“Whatz for breakfast I am famish,” I said as I looked through my bag and found a grapple and took a big bite out of it.
“We are starting to run low on our fresh water supply, so we might have to go up on deck and get some from their supplies,” Oso stated as he showed me his bottle with only a bit more water in it.
“We can . . . Do that . . . Tonight,” I said in-between mouthful of food.
After our meal I got my black sword and began practicing my thrust and cuts on some crates I put together. Rolling up my sleeves I wiped the sweat from my face as I begin the next set of attacks and defensive positions. After completely destroying the couple of crates I had set up I took a break next to my window and saw that it was already past noon. I saw Oso in his little corner forming this sheet of metal into something.
“What is that you’re making,” I asked him.
“Thanks for asking, since you know I can control metal I thought I make a boomerang that I could control and attack the giants with,” he replied.
“That’s . . . cool can’t wait to see it when it is done,” I said a little sarcastically.
“Just wait and see it will be amazing,” he boldly stated.
I turned around a got a banana out of my satchel and as I munched on it bluely came up to be and asked, “can that friend of yours make me some . . . Um armor for me,”
“Um, sure I’ll ask him I don’t see why not,” I said throwing my peel out the window and walked towards Oso.
“Hey, after you’re done with your thingy can you make Bluely some bird armor for him, thanks,” I said without giving him a chance to response.
“Now to practice some telekinesis,” I decided.
Getting some knives I laid them out and aimed at a target and began the training. Focusing all my mental abilities on the knives they all slowly rose from the crate and launched themselves to the target which was a paper I hung on the wall. Perfect shot of course since I have doing this the past couple of years.

As the sun began to make it’s drop into the ocean we prepare for the night mission as I wrapped my scarf around my head to hide my face, Oso finished his weapon and he was ready to test it.
The wood slightly creaked as we walked up the stairs to the main deck as I sent bluely to make sure no one was up which their weren’t. I signaled Oso over too some barrels that were tied to one end of the ship. Oso easily ripped open the ropes with his strength gift and we filled up our canteens.
“This is easier then I imagined it would be,” I thought to myself as we began to go back down the stairs .
“That was too easy,” I whispered to Oso.
“Don’t complained just go to bed,” he said as we went off to our different sleeping spots.
“I guess I shouldn’t complain,” I thought as my eyes begin to drop.
“Good night bluely,”
“Good resting to you too,”
With nothing but the light of the stars I thought I saw a shadow standing over me and then it was gone and I heard footsteps and then a splash, but I dismissed it as one of my crazy dreams and drifted off to snooze land.
Eventually I even got bored with that and asked bluely, “Can you go up and check on the crew to find out where the ship is going?”
